Alongside Armando is Melvin Obregon, a Texan from the Rio Grande Valley (RGV). Both bring their unique perspectives and experiences to the brand. While Armando’s Chicano roots are shaped by his upbringing in Chicago, Melvin’s upbringing in the RGV offers a deep appreciation for the culture and people of South Texas. Together, they have created a brand that honors not only their Mexican heritage but the rich diversity of the Latino community as a whole. This includes our friends from Puerto Rico, Colombia, Cuba, and beyond. The Latino experience is vast, and Chico Lindo is proud to celebrate all the cultures and stories that make up our community.
